Full body massage therapy
All types of massage for health or relaxation
"Swedish massage uses massage oils to facilitate smooth, gliding strokes called effleurage. Other massage techniques include kneading, friction, stretching and tapping. Swedish massage, is the cornerstone on which the industry is built. All other types of massage are based upon these massage strokes. Swedish massage promotes relaxation, eases muscle tension and creates other health benefits. It can be slow and gentle or vigorous and bracing, depending on what you want to achieve.
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia--also called connective tissue. Deep tissuemassage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure is more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as I work to release chronic muscle tension and knots or adhesions.
This form of therapy involves my placing my hands on the patient, which allows me to tune into what is called the craniosacral rhythm. Crainiosacral gently works with the spine and the skull and its cranial sutures, diaphragms, and fascia. The restrictions of nerve passages are eased, the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spinal cord is optimized, and misaligned bones are restored to their proper position. I use Crainiosacral to treat stress, neck and back pain, migraines and for chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia.
In Chinese Medicine, cupping is a method of applying acupressure by creating a vacuum on the patient's skin. The therapy is used to dispel stagnation or stagnant blood and lymph, thereby improving qi flow—to treat respiratory diseases such as the common cold, pneumonia and bronchitis. Cupping also is used on back, neck, shoulder and other muscular-skeletal conditions.

Clinical experience with TRIGGER POINT therapy shows that many common aches & pains are actually caused by TRIGGER POINTS, which are small contraction knots in the muscles of the body. TRIGGER POINTS are known to cause headaches, neck & jaw pain, low-back pain, etc. They may also play a part in chronic fatigue & lowered resistance to infection. Being responsible for long-term pain & disability, TRIGGER POINTS eventually can cause depression. Come on over to check & fix your TRIGGER POINTS! Let me make your life more enjoyable & happy!
This is the large & broad muscle, running up each side of the back of your neck, which (together with the neighboring Splenius Cervicis) works to rotate your head & neck and help lift your head. In everyday life you use this muscle a lot, looking up, turning your head to the side, looking behind, etc. Very often, problems with the SPLENIUS CAPITIS (and its companion muscles on the back, side & front of the neck) can cause headache & neck pain. Come to see me for help to balance & activate your neck muscles for optimal cervical alignment, range of motion & head posture.
I offer massage for males and females which can help to relieve many physical problems; such as back pain, tense shoulders and neck stiffness, poor posture, indigestion, sciatica as well as help with the effects of stress and lethargy. If you require our services please do not hesitate to contact us.
Our massage gets results and people often notice improved range of motion and decreased stiffness straight after a physio
massage. So for this reason a 60 minute massage is rarely required and we always recommend to patients that a 30 minute
massage is more than enough.
